Sometimes we are lucky enough to have a
glimpse of time and when that happens we
become closer to our family, history and past.
For years I had these wonderful glimpes into
my family and never really took the time to
read them fully. Now as I grow older I know
how important they are, not only to me but the
history of our country and the times it was
going through.
Thank you for visiting this page and I hope you
will carry away with you the moments,
feelings, and history of my family and the war
that made the daily struggle.
For my Dad,
Thank you for passing these treasures on to
me, I know you would approve of me sharing
with others these times and moments of our
family.
I wanted to leave these letters as written so I
have not corrected the spelling unless it helps
to follow the content of the letter. On this page
I have just posted a small part of the letter. To
view the whole letter click on the title of each
one.
